The Honourable Member representing Esan North East/ Esan South East Federal Constituency of Edo State - Hon. Prince Henry Odianosen Okojie, has congratulated the Executive Governor of Edo State - His Excellency, Senator Monday Okpebholo for emerging as the Governor of the year in Education by the New Telegraph Magazine.
Hon. Okojie who described the award as not just a title but a testament to His Excellency’s unwavering commitment, dedication, visionary leadership, and a tangible transformation the Governor has instituted in the education sector in Edo state since assuming office.
The Lawmaker while noting some of the Governor's laudable achievements in the education, hailed H.E - Sen. Okpebholo for revamping one of the State owned Tertiary cidatel of learning - Ambrose Ali University Ekpoma (AAU) that almost became a shadow of itself in the previous administration, noting that the governor’s quick and proactive intervention saved the school from.going into extinction.
Okojie further described the award by New Telegraph Magazine as a reaffirmation of what many already known about the character and the SHINE agenda the governor brought to the people, affirming that Edo State is in safe hands shinning brighter everyday.
Speaking from Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory, Hon Okojie says the award is a win for every Edolite who believe in the vision and shared prosperity of His Excellency.
